Registration, Free Traffic
& Referral Rewards
Sign up without a credit card to get a free traffic allowance. Refer friends to earn account balance rewards that can be used to pay for plans.
Click "Free Sign Up" at the top right, then enter your email and password. The entire process happens on the same page; no need to navigate away.
Registration is card-free, and you won't be charged after your free traffic runs out. You decide whether to purchase a plan.
New users receive a one-time free traffic allowance. The specific amount is shown in your dashboard after login and is subject to current rules.
This allowance is a one-time grant and does not reset. You will need to purchase a plan from our subscription page once it is exhausted.
Both you and your referred friend earn account balance rewards on signup. The exact amount is shown in the "Referrals" section of your dashboard.
Your account balance is prioritized automatically during checkout. If it's insufficient, the remaining balance is paid via our third-party payment providers.
Click "Forgot Password" in the login window and enter your registered email to receive a password reset link.
While logged in, you can update your password directly from the "Security Settings" section of your dashboard.
All plans provide 1024 GB monthly traffic, resetting each cycle. Features and node access are identical across all tiers.

& Billing FAQ
Four tiers: Monthly $7.99, Quarterly $11.99, Yearly $32.99, and 2-Year $36.99. All plans include 1024 GB monthly traffic. Node coverage and features are identical; there are no "premium nodes" or tiered service levels.
During checkout, the system automatically uses your account balance (from referrals, etc.) first. If the balance is insufficient, the remainder is paid via third-party providers.
Note: You cannot bypass your balance to pay the full amount online—it is always prioritized by the system.
Yes, but the new plan takes effect immediately, and any remaining traffic from your old plan will be reset to zero and non-refundable.
This rule is shown again during checkout. We recommend renewing when your current traffic is nearly or completely exhausted to avoid waste.
No difference. All plans (including the free tier) offer identical node coverage, client features, and connection quality. The only differences are the price and billing cycle.
Refund policies follow our Terms of Service; please review the Terms of Service page before purchasing. Since traffic resets on upgrade, please confirm your usage carefully.
VPN Client Download
& Installation Guides
DVDVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Detailed installers and instructions are on our Downloads page.
The iOS version is distributed via the App Store or TestFlight. We do not support third-party IPA files. Check the iOS section of our Downloads page for current status.
Yes, we provide direct APK downloads. Check the Downloads page for instructions on how to enable installation from unknown sources on your Android device.
We provide packages for major distros (Ubuntu/Debian and RPM-based). Installation commands and kernel requirements are in the Linux section of our Downloads page.
Simply log in with your registered email and password. On your first connection, follow the prompts to grant VPN permissions to the client (usually a system dialog confirmation).
Download the .exe from our Downloads page and run the wizard; it usually takes less than two minutes. You may need to accept a UAC prompt and authorize the addition of a VPN configuration.
Refer to the downloads page for minimum OS requirements; Windows 10 or newer is recommended for the best experience.
On your first connection, macOS will ask to add a "VPN Configuration"—click "Allow." If the prompt doesn't appear, check System Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
macOS Sequoia users may also need to authorize network filtering in Privacy & Security. See our Downloads page for a visual guide.
We recommend keeping your client updated for the latest security patches and node support:
- Windows / macOS: The app will show a prompt when a new version is available; follow it to download and update.
- iOS: Update via the "Updates" tab in the App Store.
- Android APK: Manually visit our Downloads page to redownload and install the latest APK.
- Linux: Refer to the update commands specified in the Linux section of the downloads page.
Connection Speed, Nodes
& Concurrent Usage
Learn about DVDVPN's performance, 60+ node locations, and multi-device support.
Encryption and routing introduce some latency, depending on your local ISP and distance to the node. DVDVPN features Auto Node Selection, which continuously probes available nodes to pick the lowest-latency exit. On a good network, daily browsing and streaming are usually unaffected.
Simply click a region in the client's node list to switch. We cover 60+ countries and regions; the full list is updated in real-time within the app. Auto Mode is also available to minimize manual switching.
Yes, we support concurrent logins and usage. The specific limit on simultaneous devices is shown in your dashboard. One account works across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux.
Mobile clients (iOS/Android) are optimized for automatic reconnection during network changes (e.g., switching between Wi-Fi and LTE). Desktop clients also support auto-reconnect, which can be adjusted in settings.
Speed depends mainly on geographic distance and local network quality. Generally:
- Auto Mode is the easiest—the system probes all nodes and switches to the best exit automatically.
- For manual selection, pick nodes with latency below 100ms; closer proximity typically means better performance.
- If a node slows down, it may be due to peak hours in that region; switching to another node usually helps.
A VPN adds a routing hop, which usually increases Ping slightly. The impact depends on the distance between the node and the game server:
- If the node is near the game server, the increase is very small.
- If your ISP has routing issues, a VPN path can sometimes be faster than a direct connection.
- We recommend testing nodes that match your game server region for the best results.
No. Websites will see the IP of the VPN node, not your local network IP. Your ISP can see you are connected to a VPN, but not your specific browsing activity.
The node's IP location corresponds to the region selected in the client. You can verify this after connecting by visiting an IP checker like ip.sb.
Encryption & Data
Privacy Explanation
Learn about our encryption standards and data handling stance. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy page.
DVDVPN uses AES-256 to protect your traffic, ensuring it is never exposed in plaintext over public Wi-Fi or untrusted networks. Refer to our Technical Blog for security update history.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy page for details on our zero-log commitment. We recommend reading these terms carefully before subscribing.
We use AES-256 for encryption. Specific transport layer protocols (including versions and modes) are detailed in our client update logs and technical blog to ensure up-to-date information.
For technical details on specific protocols, check our Technical Blog or contact support via a dashboard ticket.
DNS leakage occurs when requests bypass the VPN tunnel, exposing your activity to your ISP. DVDVPN routes all DNS traffic through its encrypted tunnel to prevent this.
You can test this after connecting using tools like dnsleaktest.com or ipleak.net. If the results show your VPN node's region rather than your local ISP, protection is active.
Public Wi-Fi (cafes, airports, hotels) is often unencrypted and high-risk for MITM attacks, where others on the network could theoretically monitor your traffic.
Using a VPN secures all data with AES-256 encryption, making it unreadable to bystanders. Always enable VPN before connecting to untrusted networks to protect your personal data.
VPN Connection & Troubleshooting
Step-by-Step Guide
If you experience connection failures or slow speeds, follow these steps to quickly restore normal service.
VPN won't connect or tunnel fails to establish
- Switch to another node or try Auto Mode to see if the issue is node-specific.
- Check local network: Ensure you can browse normally without VPN to rule out local outages.
- Restart the client and log back in; this often clears system permission conflicts.
- If the above fails, submit a dashboard ticket with your client version, region, and any error screenshots.
Connection is noticeably slower than usual
- Switch to a node with lower latency (closer geographic proximity).
- Enable Auto Mode to let the client select the fastest available exit for you.
- Confirm in your account dashboard if your monthly traffic has reached the 1024 GB limit.
- If slow speeds occur only at specific times, it may be due to peak network hours; try again later or switch to a node in a different region.
Certain sites or services remain inaccessible after connecting
- Try switching to nodes in different regions, as some content platforms detect and restrict specific exit IPs.
- Check if the target service is accessible without VPN to rule out service outages.
- Check our technical blog for specific service access notes, or submit a support ticket via your dashboard.
